The Ever Popular Television Show! Live in Concert.
Featuring two Presenters plus the toys from the popular television show.
This show is full of active participation.
Play School, which celebrates its 42nd birthday this year, has featured some of Australia’s leading actors as presenters over the years. These popular Play School live shows are specially designed to delight pre-schoolers and parents alike.

Each show features 40 minutes of songs, games and stories with two of the TV Shows presenters along with many of the well-loved toys from the television series. The roars of approval heard whenever they appear on stage attest to the ongoing popularity of Big Ted, Little Ted, Jemima and Humpty. As with the television program, everything in the concerts is carefully paced especially for children. There are songs to move to, as well as quiet times to just watch and listen. The familiarity of the material and the presenters combine to totally engage the young audience for the 40-minute duration of the concerts.

Audience numbers are limited per session so those children can see and hear the show easily, and move about safely.

What is in a Price? Did you know that $29.95 was really the same as paying $30

You will notice that most of the prices in the web site are in round dollars $25 not $24.95.

This is our policy in most cases now – the exceptions being where we have product from a group catalogue or pre priced by the supplier.

Why is this you might ask, when all the major retailers use the $0.99 or $0.95 trick.

Well we used to do it, and our customers said to us –  ”do you think we are stupid” we can tell that something is $30 when it is priced at $29.95. We agreed with them – our customers aren’t stupid, so we don’t insult you with pricing tricks.

There is one exception – we never price anything for$13 – always $12.95 – just a little superstition.  Please indulge us this one slip up!

Sunday Shopping a great time to be out without the maddening crowds

We have been opening on Sundays since May this year and have found that the customers that come in are very appreciative of the time that they can spend quietly browsing.  There is alot of of stock in the Toy Shop at the moment and it sometimes takes some time to find the right thing.

Of course there is always knowledge staff on duty that can help you with age appropriate gifts.  Let us know of the child’s interests, if they have to share with siblings, if you have to post the gift and if you have a budget.  There is always something great that we can recommend.

See you on Sunday!!!
